CANVASES

Traditional techniques of painting are explored upon canvas, and they come in all different shapes and sizes to hang on any wall within the home. Imagery of collected tea cups, flowers, shoes and jewellery define a romantic, feminine touch of nostalgia.

Mixed Media in the form of 2D upon canvas is explored through stitching and layering different media such as oils and watercolour paint, graphite and inks. Working on canvas can be a lot more challenging in terms of composition and the techniques that suit. Experimenting with different scales enables me to adopt an alternative approach to drawing.
